This Week... on hall (Feb.14-20)

Weekend Recap:

MORE SNOW!!! (Am I the only one still enjoying it?) Unfortunately, this weekend the news was hit with a lot of tragedies. The Winter Olympics opened to the death of 21 year old luger, Nodar Kumaritashvili in a training accident. It has been one month since the tragic Haiti earthquake on January 12th. It is estimated that more than 200,000 people died in the earthquake. British Fashion designer Alexander McQueen passed away. A professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville is a shooting suspect in the murder of three faculty members. On campus, most of the loops were cancelled due to the 1-2 inches of snow. The musical Thoroughly Modern Millie (shout out to Christian and Linda) was well received! The girls dressed up for the Sadie Hawkins dance, and had a memorable moment with Mmmm Bop!
